We, Michael Di Spirito and Danielle Davie, are Viridian, an independent alternative indie band from Vancouver, BC. When we started Viridian we were both just 17 years old. Since then, we’ve grown up and found our sound. We’ve faced challenges and triumphs. Tried things that didn’t work, and stumbled into things that did. A lot of the time though, we felt lost in the woods.
Together, we learned how to survive in the woods. How to be alone. How to be together. How to stay young. How to grow up.
For the past five years, we’ve been surviving in the woods. And this Fall, we’ll be releasing our debut album about our time there. Our time being lost. Being alone. And ultimately, moving forward through the woods, finding ourselves, and finding out that we’re not alone.
We can’t wait for you to join us, and to share what we’ve found.
Drawing influence from the likes of Radiohead, Bon Iver, and Frank Ocean, How to Survive in the Woods melds moody soundscapes with delicate vocals and dreamy leads.
